Holiday Resort between Mossel Bay and George in the Garden Route

Dwarswegstrandoord is a holiday resort along the Garden Route Coast line between Mossel Bay and George near Great Brak River. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the coastal resort with direct access to the long white beach.

The resort is access controlled ensuring your safety. Dwarswegstrandoord is ideally located to explore the wonders of the Garden Route.

Camping at the Seafront Caravan Park 

The 3 star Caravan Park near Great Brak River is located on the seafront and offers 33 camping sites. All camping sites are on grass, have braai facilities and electricity points. Campers will receive an access code for the clean and modern ablution facilities.

Laundry facilities with coin operated washing machines and ironing boards are also available.

Self Catering Accommodation in Dwarswegstrand near Great Brak River

Self catering accommodation is available at this resort with 11 four bedroom houses and 9 flats. The bedrooms are fully equipped with a garage included in three of the house.

9 flats are located right behind the beach front houses; there are 4 single storey flats and 5 duplex flats.

Payment of Accommodation:

• Deposits must be paid within 48 hours.
• ALL outstanding accommodation fee is payable 7 days before arrival at the Beach Resort in KO Trust bank account.
• If reservation is made within 7 days before arrival accommodation fees to be paid immediately. Bank details on billing / reservation voucher.

Cancellations:

• Up to 90 days before arrival - no cancellation fee
• 89-60 days 25% of deposit
• 59-30 days 50% of deposit
• 29-14 days to pay 50% of accommodation fees.
• Within 13 days prior to arrival - forfeit already paid all accommodation fees.
• No discussion among themselves to  another person may be transferred.

Cancellation of Reservations:

• Up to 90 days before arrival no charge
• 89 – 60 days 25% of deposit
• 59 – 30 days 50 % of deposit
• 29 – 14 days 50% of total amount paid
• 13 or fewer days full amount paid is forfeited.
• No reservation to be transferred among members or non-members.

Caravan Sites:

• Only net type groundcovers allowed
• Only one caravan with side tent/s and/or awning/s, or camping vehicle with side tent is allowed per site.
• A maximum of 2 free-standing 2 men tents (1,5m x 1,5m) are allowed with a caravan on the same site.
• One vehicle per site is allowed on the site. Maximum 2 vehicles allowed per site.
• A maximum of 6 persons - including babies or children per site is allowed. This number may not be exceeded under any circumstances.
• A limited number of TV dishes are available for hire @ R30.00.
• Washing Facilities: Washing machine & Tumble Dryer coins available at the office at R15/coin. No washing lines are permitted between trees and caravans. Use washing lines at the back of ablution blocks.

Restrictions:

• No Pets allowed
• No 4-wheel motorcycles or vehicles allowed on the beach or in the streets of the Beach Resort
• All  tenants and visitors must complete the admission register at security, if not in possession of a valid access permit displayed on the windscreen.
